MEET THE STAFF

Leilani Henry

Leilani Rashida Henry is a leading-edge workplace architect influencing today's redesign of corporate learning experiences and environments. She has been an organization development (OD) consultant and trainer for nearly twenty years. Throughout her career, Leilani has facilitated hundreds of workplace changes and implemented redesign efforts that have resulted in cost savings for organizations in the millions of dollars. Her current focus is to cultivate 'dynamic workplace balance' to optimize commitment and performance, with innovative interventions such as Being and Living® Dialogue, Brain Gym®, Playback Theater and business simulations. Combined with Leilani's professional savvy, and sensitivity, these tools provide the safety needed to move through tough workplace issues such as authoritarian management, lack of commitment, stifled innovation, under-utilized diversity and workplace violence.

Leilani Henry has implemented organizational and personal change practices at Honeywell, Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin) and Jones Intercable. After her in-house corporate experience, Leilani joined a business consulting firm, Idea Champions, and finally founded her own firm, Being and Living® Enterprises, a business that enables individuals, organizations and communities to break non-productive cultural patterns, learn new strategies for 'dynamic workplace balance' and boldly create a future of choice by integrating the mind and heart; action and reflection; love/play and work.

Leilani's Master's Degree in Education, Learning and Human Resource Development Technology, backed by her Cum Laude degree in Psychology from Spelman College, give her the skills to understand the obstacles and power in embracing change in a variety of settings. An inspiring and motivating facilitator and presenter, she sparks the hearts and minds of those who are interested in getting extraordinary results that align with their highest aspirations. Her lifetime experience as a performing artist is integrated into a unique approach to leadership, performance and learning.
